It felt like Rowan nursed 24/7 during his first three months. I think I remember our schedule going something like this: wake up, nurse for forty-five minutes, sleep for an hour and a half, repeat. Tops that provided easy access was a must, but like maternity clothes , I am not a fan of tops that a specifically made for nursing.
It’s probably no surprise that I love Free People and a swing top is so easy when it comes to breastfeeding. I usually wear a cami under these kinds of shirts, so I can pull up the top layer and pull down the top of cami when it is time to feed. This red color would be great for a Memorial Day or Fourth of July outfit. The Free People Meant to Be Swing Top also comes in black and of course I need that color too!
After being pregnant, I want to wear everything that I couldn’t with a bump. That’s where this tee comes in. Of course I would pair it with something high waisted because high waisted is life!
75% of my top wardrobe will be button up tops this summer. One reason why? They are easy. I also love how it looks with shorts!
It’s a button up and it’s a tank. For me it’s pretty perfect for the 100 degree days that take over the Central Valley!
Some of the tops below have buttons, others are flowy enough to lift and nurse. Click through the photos below to check out the tops that I’m going to try as soon as the baby is here!
